In Kat Knight, the growth and evolution of your Cat Knights are crucial to maximizing their earning potential and battle effectiveness. This is achieved through two core mechanics: Leveling Up and Up-Starring.

Leveling Up Your Knights:

Each Cat Knight begins at level 1 and can progress to a maximum level of 20. Leveling up enhances a Knight's stats, making them more potent in battle and increasing their $KAT earning rate. This process is accomplished using GEMs, the secondary in-game currency.

• Acquiring GEMs: Players earn GEMs through two primary methods:

  • Swapping Unused Knights: Players can convert unwanted or duplicate Knights into GEMs. This provides a way to recycle less desirable Knights into resources that power the growth of their more valuable assets.

  • Completing Quests: Daily and weekly quests reward players with GEMs, offering consistent opportunities to level up their Knights without solely relying on swapping.

• The Leveling-Up Process: To level up a Knight, simply select the desired Knight and spend the required amount of GEMs. The GEM cost increases with each level, making early leveling relatively inexpensive and later levels more resource-intensive, reflecting the increasing stat gains achieved.

Up-Starring Your Knights:

Once a Cat Knight reaches its maximum level (level 20), it's ready for the transformative process of Up-Starring. This process permanently increases a Knight's rarity (from 1-star to 2-star, 2-star to 3-star, etc.), leading to significant stat boosts and a drastic increase in their $KAT earning rate.

• The Up-Starring Process: Up-Starring requires a specific investment:

  • Merging Knights: Players must merge a number of identical rarity Cat Knights to up-star a single Knight of that same rarity. The number of Knights required for merging increases with each star level. For example, merging two more 2-star Knights is needed to create one 3-star Knight.

  • $KAT Up-Starring Fee: In addition to merging Knights of the same rarity, players must also pay a $KAT fee. This fee increases substantially with each star level, reflecting the significant power increase gained. This acts as a balancing mechanism, ensuring that high-rarity Knights remain valuable assets.

• Benefits of Up-Starring: Successfully up-starring a Knight drastically increases its earning rate, making it a valuable investment. Furthermore, up-starred Knights unlock new and more powerful abilities, making them critical assets in high-level battles.
